It all started with a pitch to “swipe right on height.” Playing off an insight that the busiest day of online dating is the first week of January and that women prefer taller men, we crafted a compelling pitch to get high-profile national notice. Business Insider took interest first, and then the media snowball began exploding patient interest. When we began working with Dr. Debiparshad, he was an accomplished orthopedic surgeon recently taking on the “fringe” procedure of cosmetic limb lengthening. Most people had never heard of this ground-breaking procedure, and we began working on a strategy to drive awareness through storytelling. After just a few short months, Dr. D became a world-renowned leader in limb-lengthening procedures and was receiving patients from all over the world.
Following the launch, Dr. Debiparshad became a phenomenon in the global media for almost a year. The coverage had a snowball effect, landing spreads and features in GQ, Inside Edition, Business Insider, and countless other major outlets, before limb lengthening was featured in an SNL skit.
This work allowed prime rankings on Google for limb lengthening in every market, and propelled Dr. Debiparshad as the face of the industry.
